From my trip to Bronx yesterday:
22) Mikado Pheasant Syrmaticus mikado
23) Satyr Tragopan Tragopan satyra
24) Maleo Macrocephalon maleo
25) Malayan Great Argus Argusianus argus argus
26) Green Junglefowl Gallus varius
27) Blue-Billed Curassow Crax alberti
28) Western Capercaillie Tetrao urogallus
29) Kenyan Crested Guineafowl Guttera pucherani pucherani

Unfortunately, I fear this may be my last zoo trip of the year so probably won't get any more species for the challenge which is a shame as I was aiming for at least 30 species! I'd have had it, too, if Bronx hadn't decided to take their Blue Eared-Pheasants and Chinese Bamboo Partridges off-show! Ah well, 29 is a good total.

Thought I had a bad "pheasant-year" sofar but made a list a came to 51 species. Didn't visit however Rooie Hoeve, Avifauna and Walsrode sofar this year which would make my list ways longer ( Rooie Hoeve and Walsrode even aren't possible anymore this year because both collections are closed during the winter-period ). Avifauna is still possible so if I can find the time, I will visit it before the end of the year to make my list a little longer.
