Make that 48....

London Zoo

47. Kaiser’s spotted newt (Neurergus kaiseri)

The last feasible one at London - never noticed it before but they have a tank literally right behind the ones for the midwife tadpoles and brook salamanders that houses the newts!

London Zoo

48. Chinese giant salamander (Andrias davidianus)

Next to the species I listed, I also saw red-eyed treefrog (already listed for Artis). Leaflitter toad (Rhinella alata) was unfortunately off-exhibit due to maintenance on the exhibit.

Photos will follow, as well other photos from my Panamanian trip.

Tiergarten Schoenbrunn

1. Jaguar poison dart frog
2. Strawberry poison dart frog
3. Colorado toad
4. Fire salamander
5. Some kind of Tree frog?
6. Javan flying frog
7. Striped poison dart frog
8. Malayan flying frog
9. Fire bellied toad

I have just spotted the ulterior motive for this post
Thylo was asserting his dominance over this thread by posting his score above everybody else's ;).

Glad to have you on-board but please include scientific names as well. It makes it easier when dealing with species that have multiple common names.

If I wanted to do that I would have done it when I came back from my March trip ;)
