23. Quokka Setonix brachyurus
24. Rufous Bettong Aepyprymnus rufescens
25. Long-nosed Potoroo Potorous tridactylus
26. Sugar Glider Petaurus breviceps
Today I caught a glimpse of a marsupial I didn’t see on my last visit. A jet black possum is very striking.

David Fleay Wildlife Park 20/06/2020
28. Common Ringtail Possum Pseudocheirus peregrinus
29. Common Wallaroo Osphranter robustus
30. Agile Wallaby Notamacropus agilis
31. Bridled Nailtail Wallaby Onychogalea fraenata
32. Proserpine Rock Wallaby Petrogale persephone

For myself, at Wellington Zoo today:

1) Eastern Grey Kangaroo Macropus giganteus
2) Tasmanian Devil Sarcophilus harrisii
First visit to Wellington Zoo in a couple of months, and so I have finally added marsupial number three to my total.

3) Parma Wallaby Notamacropus parma

I was surprised to see it actually, because the undergrowth in the walk-through area is so thick that I haven't seen a wallaby in there for a couple of years, and I think they only have one left anyway!

Frankfurt Zoo

5. Goodfellow's Tree-kangaroo (Dendrolagus goodfellowi)
6. Eastern Quoll (Dasyurus viverrinus)
7. Kowari (Dasyuroides byrnei)
8. Feather-tailed Glider (Acrobates pygmaeus)
9. Linneaus' Mouse Opossum (Marmosa murina)

I finally saw the mouse opossum, after 4 visits or so. It is only the first opossum species I have seen in a zoo and the second in total. The Tammar Wallaby stayed inside and were non-visible due to construction work.

Capron Park Zoo- 1/5/2020
1. Brush-tailed Bettong- Bettongia pencillus
2. Red Kangaroo- Macropus Rufus
I am officially averaging less than one marsupial per zoo now. Out of three zoos visited, I have only seen two species of marsupial, as neither Buttonwood or Stone keep any marsupial species.

Was this species where the possums are normally kept near the meerkat exhibit and the sun bear exhibit?

Those exhibits have been bulldozed to make way for the new café area and cotton-top tamarin enclosure. It was in the South American trail: Short-eared Brushtail Possum Enclosure - ZooChat It seems like it was only a temporary exhibit as the possum wasn't on-display during my most recent visit in August.
