I take pictures of every species sign. It feels excessive but I wonder if it is better than writing. I used to write notes a while ago but only for common names, it feels like it would be difficult to write every species and their scientific name.
I do the writing once I get home, I tend to remember what I've seen that note it on the evening. Don't normally bother with scientific names because I know what I mean but for the challenge I needed to have the scientific names so spent a good half hour looking them up. :)

Finally making some more headway, though probably no more zoos for me for a while now, only London really now. Even so, some nice additions possible there - tamanduas and a couple of marsupial species iirc.

Sorry, but I'm struggling to think of any marsupials you can add at London. Apart from the tamandua, I think there is currently only the sengi and tenrec possible, you've already seen everything else.

Oh yes indeed, thanks for pointing that out. For some reason I thought I had seen Red kangaroo at Montpellier and therefore the wallabies at London would be new but you are indeed correct :)
