On vacation in the Poconos I took a chance on one of the two most advertised zoos in the region. It's better than the Snake and Animal Farm I suppose, though largely because it has bigger game and is a larger place overall. Still, of course, a roadside type of place with dinky enclosures . Nice additions but maybe if you have a photo o the Amazon you saw we could identify it and make it admissible? For now I don’t think genus-level IDs are admissible. Alternatively maybe there’s another admissible taxon you can add :).

I have you at 5 cats now, not 4 - Pallas, Canada lynx, bob, serval, Eurasian lynx.

You're at 4 island birds. Salmon-crested cockatoo, laysan duck, luzon bleeding heart, and beautiful fruit dove.

Mantellas don't count for this one, they have to be Dendrobatidae (poison dart frogs).

He should be on five - you seem to have skipped the Guam Kingfisher, and then he hasn't removed the Spotted Whistling Duck.

I thinks it's A.oratrix but I'm not sure an entirely conclusive ID can be reached with that photo. Would be great if someone better at IDs could pitch in their thoughts though.

I've received confirmation that it is yellow headed Amazon (Amazona oratrix), so this parrot is solid for the record.

Would Nicobar Pigeon work to replace Spotted Whistling-Duck? I remember that one has been disputed in the past.

I don't think there was ever a final decision on Nicobar lol. It would be easier if you saw something else, but I can put you down for Nicobar if you want and then wait for that ruling. Sorry I missed your kingfisher!
