Geographic advantage is a hard one to address, especially in a challenge like this requiring a broad swath of species as well as specific ones... it's something that I intend addressing in whatever next year's challenge is though, whatever that ends up being
Oh, it's fine. It's really something that could just be admitted as a "yeah, some parts of the country will have it easier than others", as there's no way to ensure that zoo Hotspot (Chicago, NYC, DFW, San Diego, etc.) are on a level playing field with areas that have less zoos or smaller zoos (New England, Great Plains states, etc.) I totally understand that some people will always have it easier than others, and the winner of every challenge so far has done at least some traveling outside their "home base".

Huh. I didn't realize there were Grant's on the safaris. Thought it was just Hartmann's Mountain. I didn't even think about counting a security dog when I went to DAK! Since that was five months ago, I won't count one retroactively, but you're smart to take note of that and count it.

One-Zoo Wonder (I think)
When will I update this? Whenever I get to another zoo, or whenever Henry Vilas decides to open up their aviary (bird flu has ruined my chances at bird challenges). Anyways, I may not win this challenge over all, but I'll try my hardest!
I didn't even think about counting a security dog when I went to DAK! Since that was five months ago, I won't count one retroactively, but you're smart to take note of that and count it.
You can always count things retroactively when you make a mistake or didn't realize they counted. This is assuming you definitely recall seeing what @birdsandbats saw; if you don't then that's a different story.
Well, I guess I didn’t complete One-Zoo wonder, then! Even if Milwaukee had 3 gibbon species, their orangutans are hybrids, so they don’t count, right?
I think I can complete the ratite challenge in one go at a different zoo, but that’ll have to wait a while.

I'm not confident enough that I definitely saw them at Animal Kingdom, hence I'm not going to count them. I also wasn't exactly looking for them either.
