ZooChat Challenge UK 2018

It's half term. I crammed in another zoo. Drayton Manor Park zoo, which I have not visited since I was a teenager (and back then I was more interested in the meagre offering of thrill rides than the zoo, I am ashamed to say.) I was quite amazed with the number of animals from the list found there, and just annoyed to miss the ostrich.

I'd never heard of this place before (or if I had, I'd forgot) -it looks a nice little "zoo hit" at a very reasonable price, plus who doesn't love two species of armadillo? I'll be trying to double this up with somewhere (Hoo Farm, Dudley) in the future. Thanks.
 
I don't think I had heard of it either, but it is within daytrip reach of me, and will mean I can add fennec fox considerably cheaper than going to All Things Wild.

I first heard about the Exotic Zoo when it opened at it's new site last year although it was only when I read on there website they had a couple of species I haven't seen before that I decided to visit, although of them species I only saw one (that being the Thick-tailed Bushbaby). It is quite a small zoo which is clearly aimed at children and has many animals which were being handled by visitors but the staff were very friendly and I still enjoyed my visit :)

I assume that if ZTL lists an institution as housing a domestic form of a species, we can't include it? Wingham had helmeted guinea fowl of the (to my eyes!) wild type, but ZTL has them down as being domestics.
