Congratulations MagpieGoose, you are the winner, I have one more to add, but I am not going to get another 20 plus in the next week.

So I've kept a rough list from a few zoos earlier in the year.. but none of my recent trips; not keeping on top of it was very stupid haha. Tonight I'll be going through and updating it to make sure its accurate. I cant imagine I'll be anywhere near some of your totals, but it should be fairly hefty... It's going to be a long night!

Edit - Okay, I don't have time... I won't leave it until so late next year!

I'm calling it now.

Thank you to all who have taken part (actively or by commentary) this year. With respect to ShonenJake (who had a very respectable total in third) it's been a thrilling two horse race between Pipaluk and Magpie Goose, the eventual winner. I'm impressed with the visiting and totals achieved by both of you and to get near and exceed 300, respectively, is astonishing and far higher than I would have guessed possible.

Congratulations MagpieGoose, take a bow and contact me via PM if you want your trophy sent.

I'm not setting a UK challenge for 2020, like Glastonbury occasionally does I'm taking a year out to rejuvenate. This is partly to avoid repetition/similarity to previous contests and partly because I've an idea for tweaking the challenge a bit but it's gonna take a some more thinking about to hone it for purpose (all should be revealed next year). In the interim I'd suggest taking on the European Challenge (I will be) as it seems a good one and, on initial consideration, doesn't offer any massive disadvantage to UK based zoo-goers (at the very least, even if it did, you could still aim for the best UK based score).

Enjoy the rest of 2019 and Happy New Year and Happy New Zooing in 2020 and the new decade.
