Does anyone have a percentage or number to compare with the 93 @Rayane cited Zurich having in total?

Was curious about this myself so did a bit of digging a day or two ago; as far as I can tell there are 12 species:

African Pygmy-goose
Bernier`s Teal
Pitta-like Ground Roller
Madagascar Fody
Crested Drongo
Crested Coua
Malagasy Blue Pigeon
Malagasy Lovebird
Madagascar Crested Ibis
Lesser Vasa
Greater Vasa
Madagascar Partridge

Of these, all but the lovebird, coua, partridge and fody are in single digits, and the ground-pitta and drongo are down to one individual apiece. The fody and partridge comprise something like 80% of the birds there.

Not quite....

This was the list when I last visited:

African pygmy goose
Red-billed teal
Hottentot teal
Meller's duck
Bernier's duck
White-fronted whistling duck

Little bittern
Cattle egret
Hamerkop
Madagascar crested ibis
African jacana

Madagascar turtle dove
Madagascar partridge

Crested coua
Pitta-like ground roller
European bee-eater

Greater vasa parrot
Lesser vasa parrot
Grey-headed lovebird

Madagascar red fody
Madagascar magpie robin
Madagascar drongo
Madagascan mannikin

With the Madagascar blue pigeons not signed (and probably behind the scenes). Since then the Madagascan mannikin has left, but the Magpie robin was around in 2019 at least.

So Masoala holds 20-25% of Zurichs bird species. Just over a third are kept in and around the Exotarium building
