So everyone know the Difference between Poison and Venom?

I got this from a friend, I was wondering what would happen if you mix both poison and venom together and used as a weapon?

This question is completely unrelated to the thread but I’ll answer. Poison is absorbed or ingested while venom is injected into your body. Mixing them doesn’t necessarily make them stronger unless they have synergistic effects. Neurotoxins mixed with cyanide could result in rapid nervous system failure and cellular suffocation. Hemotoxins mixed with ricin can lead to extreme internal bleeding and organ failure

Thanks. What would be the appropriate thread?

Not sure there is one. Your question is too vague; as venom and poison simply refer to the method of delivery, they could in fact refer to the same chemicals, or be synergistic or antagonistic. Every combination would have to be considered separately!

I also wonder why the author included harpies and green anacondas in the article

Most of these articles are click bait for traffic and whatnot. Accuracy is neither their intent nor outcome. As it is now easier than ever to make content like this, the inaccuracies are typically not cared about by the authors. No interest in putting out quality content for many creators, and it still gets readily consumed by the public anyway...
