Zoological inaccuracies & mistakes

For sometime in 2020 or 2021 the Wikipedia page for the San Diego zoo safari park mentioned that eastern lowland, Western lowland and mountain gorillas were all held in the safari parks gorilla forest area.

And here comes more information than you most probably require about this video.
I have managed to find the guy who made the video in 2007... who I have asked questions to about the video and have received answers.
At the time the video was made, the guy was an art director at a local portrait studio. So it's a place where people went to get their pictures taken... including, perhaps especially - families with young kids. Who easily get bored in such an environment... and so a big screen was put up for them to watch videos on. And at one time they broadcast copyrighted content, for example Disney movies, on these screens... but because they didn't have the permission they got reprimanded for it and decided that what they needed was some videos of their own to broadcast on the big screen. And so new to the world of video, but familiar with graphic design, the guy took his camera around the St Louis Zoo, put the thing together and got his daughter to do the voiceover. And looking at it again it certainly looks like the kind of thing that would be broadcast in a waiting room with kids in it - there is the element of suspense to keep them engaged and videos of animals as well. And of course the alphabet theme.

I was also told that the 'Unicorn I don't think so' thing and the 'is that a yak' thing was not an ad lib - it was in the script, which the child performed impressively in one take.

And so I asked him the obvious question - was there really no animal beginning with 'W' to use instead of waterfall? He replied that there probably was an animal beginning with 'W' in the zoo, but went with the waterfall because it's a nice feature in the zoo. :p

If this was about a zoo that was in either Australia or New Zealand, at least five of the letters would be for things that are not animals. Also, a third of the animals would be either not held at the zoo or not on-display.

What... even going thin on some letters and making 'mistakes' as seen here?
