Evermore species arrive at the zoo, waiting for the new "Exotenhaus" to be finished. The official website tells about, among others, 3 Brazil-nut poison frogs, so Karlsruhe is beside Cologne the only zoo in Europe keeping this species, Cologne keeps them behind the scenes however.
Other arrivals will be some, according to the website, Bowfin, what would be even more amazing because this species is kept in none of all european zoos. Some other species moving into the "Exotenhaus" that are already known for publicity are Maranón poison frogs, Yellow-banded poison frogs, Australian lungfish, Aldabra giant tortoises, Hermann's tortoises, Radiated tortoises, Merten's water monitors, Australian water dragons, Southern three-banded armadillos, Sunbittern, Oriental Magpie Robins, Red-crested turacos, Madagascar fody, some other sort of fish (I can't mention all now xD), flying foxes (not knwon which species exactly), sloths etc...
As soon as it's opened to publicity I make a list with all species.
