Well last year they've announced Zoom will be enlarged and will add areas (there's lot of space around it), so if there's currently something under construction is still unknown, but there will surely be news in the next future, probably this spring
Is the latter a good thing or not, would you think? The society that owns Zoom Torino want to start acquiring other zoos, mainly Italians, but not only
They way animal welfare groups work is generally against any constructive method of wildlife or wilderness conservation nor the good operation of a conservation message minded zoo (which is the greatest contradiction of all). They are really a sorry lot, and even while a small group of activists ... seem to have preposterously high political clout!Politics are not in favor of zoos in Italy because the pelt trade (mafia run) decided to make a stand against zoos and in favor of animal welfare to legitimate (or more so to make accusations drop) their trade.
This may explain the state of zoos in Italy.
What zoos they want to acquire? The park has seen a rise of the capital of 7 million €, the aims for 2020 were to keep the park open for 12 months (and not for 9 as usual), but this plan has been postponed to 2021, then they are trying to organize a cinema, theatral and musical festival, to open the hospitaly part to stay overnight and a restaurant with different kind of cuisines

No informations at the momentWhat zoos they want to acquire?
It's been not specifiedWhat type of iguana? Green or something more adventureos.
They say on the site that the Tree of Life has been reworked so my guess is that it's in the same place as it was before, it's just bigger,A new reptilarium has been opened, it hosts Iguanas (previously owned by privates), Indian rock phyton, african spurred tortoise, rock monitors and argentine tegus
From the project I can't understand in which part of the park it's been realized, Zoom already had a smaller reptilarium (with 2 species of snakes) close to the otters, it could be they are not in the same place as that one looked like a fallen tree and this looks more rocky
