New information about Beauval, where I was for Christmas :
- the former exhibit of the False Gharials has been entirely emptied, all the fish and turtles have been placed off-show or gone ;
- equally the tank of the Mexican Blind Cave Fish has been emptied ;
- the Bolivian Squirrel Monkeys are back in their indoor aviary, as well as the Grey-winged Trumpeters and (probably) the Tamanduas ;
- I've seen at least one Mata-mata in spite of the absence of signage ;
- the Brazilian Tanagers Ramphocelus bresilia are back in the Bird House after several years of absence ; the Blue Ground Doves Claravis pretiosa have been transferred there from the Guianan aviary ;
- there's signage about a new species : the White-naped Pheasant Pigeon (not seen) Otidiphaps (nobilis) aruensis in the Pacific aviary ;
- the two Pionites species aren't currently displayed in the Guianan and Brazilian aviaries.
