I have created this thread to act as a way for zoochatters to discuss how to visit zoos for first time visitors. Basically, say someone has a particular zoo they are planning on visiting for the first time, or are just looking for the optimum way of visiting it, they can come here and hopefully find all the information they need to visit a zoo for the first time, such as map, layout, route plan, timings, travel, species etc.
There are several conditions for creating a ‘profile’ on a zoo. Firstly, you must have been to it several times in the last decade, including one as recently as to be familiar with the current layout. Secondly, you must have the necessary knowledge of the zoo to be able to create these profiles, as zoo websites aren’t always perfect. Thirdly, try to enjoy yourselves, and hopefully people will use this thread to know what they need to know about visiting a zoo!
