Zoo's in Pitiful Conditions

Hi every1,
I'm doing a little re-search on truely pitiful zoo's, for example the Zoo's with horrific bear pit's with teenagers throwing coke cans at the bears and the Zoo's with tiny, cramped, concrete elephant exhbits. I know of some e.g Chengdu Zoo, Dubai Zoo. But i'm sure you all know of a lot more. If you could put some species down and even better if u have any photos or description's they'll be greatly appreciated. But any info will be greatly apprecciated, i know there are some american zoo's famous for their cruelty, The Road-Side Zoo's, some info on them will be great.

The Reason It Limps Is Because A Lion Struck His Paw When He Was A Cub And Sadly Burst The Paw (The Lion Was In The CAGE beside)

I Know This Is Not The Zoo's Fault But Why & I Do Say WHY Is The Lion & Tiger Exhibit So Close Together That They Can Have Physical Contact...

well there are some terrible central and south american zoos not to mention many north american zoos, but i think it would be fair to say the zoological gardens of many asian countries are far , far worse , i have heard disgusting things about the zoos in asia from some friends who visited China and Thailand , i think on the whole south america has a more progressive outlook to animals in captivity , slowly things are getting better for example zoos in mexico and brazil also colombia are vastly improving , but there are still some dreadful places here in mexico i posted a review of a zoo near the border with america on the Mexico forum , you might be interested
