I really want to know about the zoos you mentioned here for each location. Most are not even discussed nor have a thread on the Zoochat Forum. So, it be a huge improvement for all of us.

Hi!

Here's my latest list of "zoos and aquariums" in Peninsular Malaysia.

It's quite difficult to define them, so I'm going with these definitions:
1. It holds animals, and focuses on them
2. It is open to the public
3. Animal cafes, pet shops, and circuses are excluded
4. It has a permanent address

These facilities include:
- Zoos and aquariums
- Parks with animals holdings
- Leisure farms
- Wildlife Rescue Centers
- Animal Shelters

I have also included recently closed facilities, and my last visited dates.

Please note that many facilities in Malaysia has multiple names, and may be called by another name. eg. Penang Boutique Aquarium is also known as TOP Aquarium, TOP Akua, TOP Boutique Aquarium, Penang Aquarium, Georgetown Aquarium, etc.
