Zoos with the rarest / most endangered iguanas

So it is kept in a mixed species aviary exhibit with birds ?
Kind of. The jamaican iguanas have access to a small portion of the Aviary to the left of the visitor path. On the right side of the visitor path is the pond area for the Caribbean flamingos. I think some of the birds, like the scarlet ibis or some of the macaws, might be able to access the Iguana area, but I doubt the flamingoes can.

I am curious how the natural habitat of the said iguanas looks like?

Exhibits are a generic terrarium mix of rocks, sand and tough plants, and are apparently good for the iguanas. But from the point of visitors, how real Caribbean forests look like?

Well the habitat of the rhinoceros iguana in Hispaniola is xeric scrubland and dry forest so woody stem plants and cacti, sandy substrate and limestone karst type geology (as is most of the other Caribbean rock iguanas).

Of course it is very hard to replicate in a zoo the authentic look of what the natural habitat of a species looks like to the visitor.

However, I don't think some of those exhibits at zoos do all that badly in conveying the look.

Chuckwallas are pretty common in zoos. Unfortunately they often don't say what species. Here's a few more of my photos:

19 years old :)

Usually if it isn't signed as San Esteban Chuckwalla it is safe to assume it is Common.
