This may be the wrong place to ask this (and if so, sorry) but how do you contribute on Zootierliste.

I have an account and the site keeps saying go to notice board but I cannot find it!

Is there no longer a notice board or am I being blind :/

There are some lists I wish to help update :)

If by home you mean the tab on the left, all it says is this?:

This website is the English version of a database for the current and former vertebrate inventories of European zoos and other public collections. It is tried to keep the data as comprehensive and up-to-date as possible - therefore we appreciate the help of interested people.

If you find mistakes, if you have more detailed information about certain holdings or if you would like to have new zoos or species added, please leave a message on the notice board. Thanks.

Administration News
Several zoological institutions, which comprise subunits with separate access and admission, have been also listed separately on Zootierliste (example: Berlin (Zoologischer Garten) and Berlin (Zoologischer Garten/Aquarium)). This is now changed and in accordance with the zoo list of our cooperation partner ? Zoo-Infos.de ? - die Zoo-Datenbank these will be treated as one institution on Zootierliste as well in the future. This also takes account of the fact that these institutions only have e.g. one EAZA membership. Is there a real distance between two subunits (example Poznan (Stare Zoo) und Poznan (Nowe Zoo)) the separate institution entries well be kept up. This way there will be a simple and objective rule for these special cases. If you know of any other cases, in which changes are necessary, please let us know.

Mentions the notice board but no actual notice board?
 
I think Chli literally meant that the link to reach the notice board is underneath the one for "Home" :p

When I am logged in, as I am now, the list of links on the side reads as follows:

Recent Modifications
Zoo radius search
Holding-Charts
Species-richest Zoos
Zooindex
References
List of abbreviations
Information about Postings
Unsaved Postings
FAQ
Photo policy
Notice Board
ZGAP - Species of the Year

You will note the location of the noticeboard link in bold.
 
To contribute to or change holdings, you don’t use or need the notice board.

Just go to the species page and on the right side are the zoos mentioned. Once logged in, you will see an “ edit” button above the zoos listed. Use that button to change holdings and/or information.

Use it wisely and good luck!

Seem to be missing downloads and notice board?
 
In the main page, at the bottom, it says: "for any other ideas, suggestions, etc, please use our email" and they give you the email. No need to be registered in ZTL (I'm not). I always used this for updating species lists after a recent zoo visit. After that they made all the changes.

But to be able to do that, you first need to have a certain status ;)

How do you get that status if you don't mind me asking?

I've been a member for at least a months there now.

Do you have to request it?

Does anyone know how get a higher status on Zootierliste?

I emailed them but got no reply

you won't really get a higher status by just e-mailing that to them. You will first have to contribute positively, so with the updates you have. Beware that just taking things from zoo websites is not good enough at all when it comes to listed species.

Yes, but how do I contribute if I can't even reach the notice board?

It's not an option in the tab menu. I thought you said I couldn't reach the notice board because of my status?

I got a few zoos I've visited recently that are very out of date on there.


Could it be something to do with me accessing from a tablet?

Then you should just e-mail them your updates.
 
maybe in the email of updates also note your problem, and they may let you know what the situation is.
 
I am a member recently, I try to send them an email but I am told that the email address does not work ....
What is the good e-mail address of zootierliste?
 
Iv just made an account and send email in return I got. Of become unlocked and have the possibility to species the zoos to add information on Breeding and retention periods can also be entered have fun.
