Where does this news appear, I've seen nothing on ZSL Website, no press release, no notice near aye aye enclosure. Are you positive about this news?
It is true, I'm sure, but obviously it doesn't mean you will actually get to see it! On 2 visits this year I've only got to see one adult Aye Aye once for about 10 seconds, despite returning several times to try again!

Chemically illiterate - gypsum would not be the only possible material. Plaster of Paris would work just as well, but it wouldn't make such good copy

There's plans for some new development north bank aviaries, I think I posted them some way back in this thread, they are on either the Westminster or Camden council planning dept's website, off the top of my head, can't remember which...

A fitting tribute to a man whose inspirational presence, his huge expertise on the Natural World and his astute communications skills have given us so much till this day and hopefully for many a time to go from this day forward. ZSL could not have wished for a better Honorary Fellow.
Odd - he was present and correct on the 21st July. Is it fully shut off or could it just be shielded off while the media were there for the Attenborough/Komodo event?
I would assume the vet's maybe, as I visited yesterday (wasn't present) and a week or so ago (was around then)? Unless he has definitely passed on
Just saw this. That's a great honor for Sir Attenborough, very fitting. Even though I came late to his work, his passion and knowledge for our natural world quickly set him apart from the pack. Here's to many more years!
The tank window is boarded and bolted shut. All signage and notices has been removed.

I'd like to know too. The last Tiger cubs only seemed to appear late in the afternoon, but these have been outside, although snoozing, for most of the day from what I can tell.
