Already stated that the Bushmaster was going on show next week in the old Black Mamba exhibit.
They no longer have Black Mamba's, they both died last year.
I was just looking through my notes from talks and chats the other day, and I think it was a Bothrops or something like that, that is likely to go on show possibly this year.
They don’t have any Bothrops.
I think you might be talking about Bitis? Which they should still have two species of - Ethiopian mountain adder (Bitis parviocula) and rhinoceros viper (Bitis nasicornis).

I'm not sure, all I remember is the keeper saying it was a viper beginning with B and the only thing that could see online which looked to match was Bothrops? It was a very short part of the keeper for the day annoyingly. It would have been nicer to spend more time in the reptile section, but it was like 30 mins tops. We got to see a few snakes out the back and we done some stuff with some turtles and they were telling us about the bushmasters going on show next week and showed us the exhibit they were going in. I asked if they had anything else going to be on show soon, and that's when they said about the snake beginning with B. I just remember it being a Viper and I can't read my writing on my notepad, so it could well be one of the ones you said. I was just googling Vipers beginning with B and it came up with Bothrops so thought it may have been that, they said the snake had not long been with them and it would be later this year hopefully it went on show, whilst they've actually had the Bushmasters for 2 years but this is the first time they are going on show.

The keeper did show a picture on their phone and it was sort of like a batternberg cake (like blocks of checkered patterns) . It looked sort of yellowly and black. Not sure if that is helpful or not. Didn't really get more than a 5 second look of it on their phone, so couldn't really remember too much to study photos online of snakes.
That definitely sounds like an Ethiopian mountain adder. They don’t have any viper species at the zoo anymore.

Meerkats are over the other side of the Zoo by the Otters. They didn't mention when we done our bit with the meerkats that they were moving.

Was just watching a video on Youtube and it looked like there was a Tree Kangaroo at London Zoo, summer 2017.
Do they still have a Tree Kangaroo as can't recall ever seeing one ? If they did and it's moved, did it go to Bristol or Chester ?

Still there, one female who didn't exhibit well if memory serves. She was on exhibit in the Clore for a brief period before being placed back bts.
It is still showing on the latest inventory. It has been held off show in the Clore down a corridor off the main rainforest exhibit. It went on show for just a few days! I got a glimpse of it once through the window into the spider monkey enclosure
They were in both places before the fire (and IIRC on show in the Casson simultaneously!).
You are correct, there were 3 Meerkat enclosures before the fire
Central American bushmaster now onshow in the reptile house (old black mamba enclosure) - in the meantime the old lungfish/mountain chicken viv has been covered with a tarp, so perhaps new residents will be settling in soon....
