What happened to the white-tailed antsangy?

Good point, going by the 2020 inventory its unclear what happened to it, maybe it mysteriously entered the third dimension / twilight zone ?

According to ZTL, the species is kept at Jihlava, Plzen, Wroclaw and Bellevue. The species left Chester and London in 2020.

ZTL is way behind the times I think, didn't Bellevue close in the 1970's ?

Maybe its still open in a parallel universe ?

Bellevue, Switzerland apparently, I suspect the animals at Chester, London and the Swiss zoo could all be the same ones looking at the time line on ZTL

It also appears that the entire European stock of this species originates from a private collection in Cornwall....

I feel exceptionally privileged in seeing the head and shoulders of an antsangy at the zoo late last year then. Sad that they didn't hang onto them.

Well they may have been a draw for us zoochatters but they were never exactly going to be a magnet for crowds.
