Great news!
Three Sumatran tiger cubs were born to Gaysha and Asim at the end of June, according to an email from the Zoo today (Stripy bundle of joy) - good news, let's hope they are all healthy
I hope the Tiger Cubs live a long and happy life. It was tragic when poor Loki died of his health problems. I hope his health woes weren’t genetic and will be passed onto his younger Siblings.

Great news and a good size litter to increase the numbers of this beautiful animal. All births are precious, but some even more so....
Would this be the normal size number for this group or do they plan to increase the number in such a large exhibitThe ten Eastern black-and-white colobus have now moved into their new enclosure, with footage showing them exploring the outdoor area.

Yes a larger group would look even better. Can you see them putting in other species like cranesIt might depend on how many the indoor facility can hold. In the wild I believe they occur in considerably larger groups than this. Plus in zoos B/w Colobus are usually very free freeders so the group could increase significantly more if they allow them too. The bigger the group, the better the display.

Its possible. I don't think the Monkeys would bother big birds in so much space.

A friend of mine was at the zoo today and confirms that the cubs are on show.
