Zoological Wildlife Foundation on Instagram: "We are so excited to introduce our newest residents at ZWF Come by and visit our F1 Savannah Cats James and Bond. James and Bond are originally from Ukraine. As kittens born in Ukraine, they moved to Florida with their owner, and have spent the last two years enjoying the warm Florida weather. Their previous owner now has to travel away from his home and could no longer care for them. He made the selfless decision to bring them here so that they can receive the love and care they so deserve. These incredible F1 Savannahs are the purrfect balance between wild and domestic cats F1 Savannahs are the descendants of the African Serval and a Domestic Cat. There are many different variations of Savannah Cats. The different variations are described from F1-F5. With each variation there is a difference in the size, characteristic and look of these hybrid cats. F1 Savannahs like James and Bond are more African Serval than Domestic Cat. Meaning these beautiful boys have nearly similar markings an attributes like their wild ancestors the African Serval. F1 Savannahs have expressive faces, dark tear stains, vibrant coat with dark black spots. They also have the tall ocelli marks on their ears to scare off predators; just like their wild relatives. F1 Savannahs are known as highly intelligent, cunning, and agile animals. Some might say the 007 of the hybrid world.
