Are the 'refugee birds' from Europe on the Edge permanantly staying in the former Condor Cliffs or will they move somewhere else?

There's nowhere else for them to go, other than off-show or to another collection. The birds currently in that now-unnamed aviary are intended to be permanent residents.

The leg injury on one of the zebras as seen here:

was caused by the break in by those people on YouTube after they startled the zebra. I know we wanted disscussion of this to stop but people were wondering about the injury so I'm just here to inform.

The moderators have decided to revert the deletion of comments posted some days ago regarding the night break-in. The reason for removing them was that the incident had not been reported in the general media, and we did not want to "promote" the perpetrators by linking to their video or discussing their actions. Since a major media outlet is now reporting it (and the zoo is commenting), we feel the discussion is now appropriate.

However, the link to the video will NOT be reinstated, as we still do not want to "reward" the hoodlums with additional views on Youtube.

Would love to see G-Panda's at Chester but don't think it will happen but will not say never.
Just been reading about the new species of Orangutan don't think we will be seeing them in collections for a long time either.
Do any of you think Chester will have a species of Wolf before to long?

I don’r Expect it but I would love to see a species of Wolf at Chester. Both current dog species have been very good value for money. In my visits to Chester the Painted Dogs and Bush Dogs have been very active. Even if the Wolves turned out to be more elusive I think it would bring something that many people would like to see. Depending on the sub-species Wolves could be placed in a UK/ European section.

I wouldn’t think that any Zoo will ever get any of the new identified species of Orang. My objection to Pandas is only based on cost. As an animal I would love to see them at Chester.
