Bristol Zoo (Closed) Bristols new zoo

i personally would hav it as Florida Wetlands
wat i mean is the natonal wildlife conservation park has enough space to keep elephants, but they may not because of bristol zoo having a poor history with them

What an exciting project. To build a zoo from the ground up without haveing to consider previous exhibits/mistakes. To take advantage of the new developments in exhibit construction. I know l will be there in the first 6 months of opening.

I think it would be intersting If Bristol was to make public/asses the number of visitors who came to the zoo from outside it's normal catchment area. Visitors from O/S ect who came to the area primarily to see the new zoo.

with bristol zoo and the new blue reef aquarium soon, it will make a great weekend away

haha, nah im ok thanks

im sure you have a person you want to go with already :P

bye the time this place opens Noahs ark zoo farm will have
African Elephants, Javen Rhino, blue whale and south china tiger!

I wonder if this park will ever actually open... I know you were being sarcastic, but I really hope the NWCP gets elephants over noahs ark!

Fellow forumsters,

Have a little faith will you? :D The credit crunch is the utmost challenge to go up another alley anyways (and besides it has shown that Bushonomics are far from leading us on a sustainable development path).

So, I do believe the Bristol NCWP will be built, even if over a longer time-frame, and that it will open in time as envisaged by management. The director and management of Bristol Zoo are sound zoo people and its director has been through the worst of the London Zoo crisis ... mind you! It is for these very reasons and the good standing of Bristol Zoo in the zoo world that I have complete faith in this endeavour.

They are indeed. But Bristol have put forward other plans for this estate in the past and they never came to fruition. I'm not saying it won't happen this time but I am not 100% convinced yet...

eles (in my opinian) should com there they have the space
I am going to say this for the last time
NWCP ave space for eles, but may not because bristol zoo has had a poor history with eles

Chester super zoo, huh, i miss somthing ??

Chester plans are much longer in timescale, so we may not see anything anytime soon.

Although said that, I know that they are puting together pre-liminary designs as we speak.
