What an exciting project. To build a zoo from the ground up without haveing to consider previous exhibits/mistakes. To take advantage of the new developments in exhibit construction. I know l will be there in the first 6 months of opening.
I think it would be intersting If Bristol was to make public/asses the number of visitors who came to the zoo from outside it's normal catchment area. Visitors from O/S ect who came to the area primarily to see the new zoo.
with bristol zoo and the new blue reef aquarium soon, it will make a great weekend away

Fellow forumsters,
Have a little faith will you?The credit crunch is the utmost challenge to go up another alley anyways (and besides it has shown that Bushonomics are far from leading us on a sustainable development path).
So, I do believe the Bristol NCWP will be built, even if over a longer time-frame, and that it will open in time as envisaged by management. The director and management of Bristol Zoo are sound zoo people and its director has been through the worst of the London Zoo crisis ... mind you! It is for these very reasons and the good standing of Bristol Zoo in the zoo world that I have complete faith in this endeavour.
