Of course, as I think I've discussed here and there in the past, this (along with all other Mottled Owl in Europe) is almost certainly Mexican Wood Owl (C. squamulata) and as such technically not valid for the challenge.... but as I cannot prove my suspicions with 100% certainty it should nonetheless stand.
