That’s a good point about the two giant tortoises, not really necessary either. A leopard tortoise or sulcata would make more sense alongside just one of the giant species.
 
I'm surprised Otters were left out, they're some of the most popular zoo animals and seem like they'd be a fun species to make an exhibit for.

I bet they will be out if PZ makes an Arctic/Aquatic themed DLC with other animals like Polar Bears, Penguins, Caribou, etc.

Sea otters could definitely make that cut. I think freshwater species like giant or oriental small-clawed will come either in a freshwater pack, endangered species pack, or a pack based on their continents.
 
86/10 is a bit... extreme. I'd give it an 8/10 because I find it annoying that you can't turn off the animal, staff and guest needs in sandbox mode if you wanted to just create a zoo and not worry about all of that. Otherwise, the animals look excellent and the amount of customisation is mind-boggling especially with the rocks, foliage and buildings but hopefully in a future update we might be able to turn off those features like needing to feed an animal / repair fences.
 
Bit disappointed in the full animals roster. However I'm excited to play! Currently downloading it after coming home from my four hour mock trial practice!
 
I'm enjoying the game. It only took me five hours to make my entrance! :p
Also, the breeding intervals, sterility, and group dynamics they implemented into the game are amazing!
The only confusing this is that I'm unable to use the komodo dragon, pygmy hippo, and thompson's gazelle despite me buying the deluxe.

I had the same problem, but after some time they eventually came into the trade center and zoopedia. I recommend logging out, then logging back in again. (if that doesn't work, just give it some time.)

Mine work! I just went into steam and opened the "DLC version" of the game and it added them in. The Zoopedia for the Pygmy Hippos are so cute.

Yesterday I spent seven hours building my entrance, shops, and a few decorations and trees. Today I'm hoping to add some flamingos near the entrance.
 
Anyone else have this situation with breeding? I bought 1.5 African buffalo and they all breed within months but then they all became infertile but still all of breeding age?

Had to sell them all bring in a new male and a few new females...
