Things That Irritate You in Life

Things (and people) that are irritate me
When my bus is full
When my mother forget to close my room's door
Zoo-haters
Viktor Orbán and his supporters
Ferenc Gyurcsány and his pensioners
People that have at least 2 cars
Loss of biodiversity

People filling a kettle for a single cup of tea/coffee.
Electronic drum sounds, even though I recently bought a kit myself.
The weather turning crap in time for my holiday.

I just realized another annoying thing for me:

I find those changing electronic signs at SEA LIFE aquariums super annoying. It sucks if you see a cool fish, but you don't know what it is, so you have to wait for the sign to cycle back to it. And they don't even give you enough time to read it before it changes! Sometimes, the fish in its tank isn't even on the sign for some reason. So I'm just standing in front of the exhibit, blocking people's path like an idiot for 2 minutes, waiting for the sign to cycle to the fish that's not even on the sign in the first place. Wouldn't it be more convenient to guests and cheaper to just put in physical information signs?

They have those for Blacktip Reef at the National Aquarium, too. Blacktip Reef is a really cool exhibit that won exhibit of the year and has lots of cool fish species, but they have rotating screens, so it's hard to tell what the fish are, like you said.

This a problem with a lot of aquarium signage, and even some reptile houses have signage like this. For electronic aquarium signage, I personally like the interactive ones with a touchscreen where you can scroll through photos of all the species in a tank, but these seem to stop working all the time.

"Just an echidna", I'd love to actually see an echidna!

Haha, but as an Australian, seeing Echidna’s in Zoos is pretty common. Everyone else on Zoochat really wants to see Australian wildlife, but I can stand in my backyard and literally have a chance of seeing a Kangaroo.

Out of curiosity, how common are they?
