Off the top of my head, I remember seeing mounted solenodonds at Vienna, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, NYC and Leiden. Maybe also Paris, Prague and London.

Probably much more common in museums in Germany I imagine.
I have been to NYC, Paris and London but didn't see any there (though perhaps I was unlucky in Paris and NYC as had limited time and solenodons were unfortunately not on my radar back then).
Given the short lifespan, ferocious feeding habits and visibility / attractiveness for visitors of shrews, both common vampire bats and slower loris are more prevalent on my plans for the future. However, several steps behind lionfish, freshwater stingrays, common quail, African spur-winged goose, Western green mamba and Malaysian king cobra.

Much higher probability than a solenodon by far.
Also what a fascinating creature to have on display.

And a rather smelly one. I would have to install a separate ventilation system when showcasing them.
As previously mentioned in a WdG thread, both avian species can be poisonous.
