Do was a typo for no, so I am saying I could find no evidence they have left since then. That’s a real shame. Glad I saw them before they went.

Great! I’m glad that there still there.Do was a typo for no, so I am saying I could find no evidence they have left since then.
How'd you get to visit MZP? Do they allow visitors? I emailed them several years ago and they never responded. Would love to see their collection. What species do they hold? Their website seems to be under construction.Anoa: CCTU/Rum Creek/peace river (what ever you want to call it) had/has well over 60 anoas
Also Micanopy Zoological Preserve (Rhudy Holly) had at least a dozen when I visited, roughly 2014. They are well established in the FL private sector
How long was the tour? I had no clue they had that many species. I know that they got the Silver Springs animals a while back. Are any paddocks visible from the road that the property is next to? I especially wanna see those Banteng & Hartebeest!@Sarus Crane a friend of mine at White Oak got us the visit. The species change quite a bit, more often than not species are added. Since my visit I know Cape buffalo, banting, aldabra, RRH, Babirusa and lechwe and GoH calf was born. Off the top of my head I remember rhino, giraffe, grevys, Somalis, bontebok, anoa, lesser kudu, bongo, nyala, several duiker species just to name a few. And I saw the Jacksons hartebeest with a calf
How many Hartebeest did you see? Are they the only ones left and were they then in 2014 a breeding herd? The ones at San Antonio Zoo died out and I have no clue what happened to the herd formerly kept at St. Catherine's Island. So to see the animals you basically need to know Rhudy or someone at White Oak to get a tour? Thanks for all the info! Its strictly private so it was basically Rhudy just showing us around. They did start with the Silver Springs exotic ungulates but have received animals from all over the place (Lowry, L.A., Catskills, W.O., etc.) The only species I recall seeing from the road were the massive plains zebra herd and I believe it was the kudzu. The hartebeest are kept far away from the main facility so they would basically be impossible.
The question is, where?Sorry for bumping a thread, but I can confirm that Minnesota’s Persian goitered gazelles have been transferred to a separate facility. Credit to @CheeseChameleon2007 for this information.
Are there any Indian Gazelles (Chinkara) in the USA anywhere in private facilities, ranches or otherwise?
More specifically Western Tufted DeerOne small addition @ThylacineAlive. San Diego Zoo holds Tufted Deer.
More specifically Western Tufted Deer
They also keep Siberian Musk Deer if that wasn't listed yet
Gladys porter zoo is famous for holding plenty of species you can’t find anywhere else. They have the only harnessed bushbucks outside of Africa, bornean bearded pigs, red broken deer, gaur, Arabian oryx and bontebok, and they used to have jenticks duiker & hunters hartebeest. I think the award for largest collection of rare ungulates in the United States would go to either iron mountain ranch, sdzsp, or the Bronx zoo.Would Brownsville hold one one the rarer antelope collections in the US?
Bornean Bearded Pigs?! I thought they were gone from the US.Gladys porter zoo is famous for holding plenty of species you can’t find anywhere else. Only 2 places keep them now. Capital of Texas zoo & Gladys porter zoo.Bornean Bearded Pigs?! I thought they were gone from the US.
Hmm I thought Capital of Texas didn't have them anymore. This is a thread about Bornean Bearded Pigs in the US.Only 2 places keep them now. Capital of Texas zoo & Gladys porter zoo.
