Jersey zoo have had two aye-aye born this year. All things considered quite a good year for Europe's aye-aye population.
One is a little female that was rejected by the mother and consequently was hand-reared by keepers, she has been called "Mifaly" (meaning "playful one" in Malagasy).
The other is a little male who was apparently accepted by his mother without any issue and was named "Marary Kenatra" (which translates as "patient and shy one" in Malagasy).
