In addition to the species listed by @Onychorhynchus coronatus , I can add :
- Emperor penguin : appart from the one in San Diego, from what I know the only other ones in captivity are in Japan

- Japanese serow ; now that the one in Usti died I believe the only ones remaining are in Japan

Oh wow my bad, then I'm only right about the Galago but we're not even sure the animal really exists. Thanks for the correction. Is the Japanese Serow population stable, are they breeding or is it slowly vanishing in the US?

Toba aquarium have them. Japan holds all 4 species of sirenia.

Single male, at Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden. He's in his fifties though (probably a record for the species), so I have no idea how much longer he can live. In Brazil and Peru they are also kept.

Maybe it was an error ? It seems too odd to me, as if it could have been something keyed into a database by mistake.

Its not really the most likely region for a species to be obtained from is it ?

Yeah, makes sense why It wouldn't be there.

Yes, but the trafficking routes are fairly simple in terms of lorises due to the proximity of Japan to South-East Asia.

Somalia is another case entirely though.
