Dear Everybody. Am I cracking up? I have a memory of myself and other keepers at Chester Zoo, being given a series of 3 rabies jabs (the same timing as tetanus; which I had already had been inoculated against.). If we were ever bitten by an unfortunate rabid animal, we would still need to injected in the normal way. Afterwards, my boss believed that we were part of a trial. Since then no-one, including the Doctors in North Yorkshire, have heard of such a thing. Has anyone else experienced this and were we (ironically) used as guinea-pigs? Regards, Sue Lane.
