Animals That Simply Don't Interest You

I have nothing against Prevost's Squirrels, they just don't interest me at all. I think there is something "odd" about the way they look that just doesn't resonate with me. I've just never been interested in them, that's all
Thats okay, everyone has their opinions, I was simply just wondering why the Prevost's squirrel didn't interest you. :)

Elephants, Asian and African. I’ve never gone out of my way to see elephants anywhere. Only time I ever cared were Santa Barbara’s Sunja and Little Mac but that was more of because of their story.

I know this is going to sound controversial, but non-Avian dinosaurs. No, I do not mean the giant animatronic dinosaurs that zoos and museums exhibit, I mean the extinct species. I believe there are so many fascinating species still alive today (or recently extinct), that I have never gained any real interest in dinosaurs who have been extinct for millions of years.

I feel this way, too. I wouldn't say they "simply don't interest me" but I do care more about living and recently extinct species than prehistoric ones.

i think domestic dogs and cats are so common that i see them everyday in our city and it is because of them killing rare wild animals.

The only domestic species i find interesting are rare and old breeds but as i have said above i dont know why everyone loves cats and dogs but they often overlook the species that are interesting for zoo nerds like sifakas, torrent ducks, clouded leopards or so much more interesting species.

Yes, I find domestic cats hard to love for the same reason.

I don't understand why people overlook wildlife in favour of domestic animals either  I suppose it may have something to do with people liking animals which are above all familiar, amiable and pliable o_O

domestic dogs are also very dangerous and are large carnivorous mammals that everyone could own and every year there are fatal dog attacks.

Yes, in comparison with attacks on people by wild large mammals like wolves or bears dog attacks are far common.

Like you said though, there are some interesting old breeds of dogs out there.

For me personally I am very interested in the xoloitzcuintle and the Chimú dogs.
