So my girlfriend decided she wanted to surprise me for our anniversary with a short trip to somewhere. After a little discussion, we decided on San Diego! The purpose of the trip was not inherently zoo or wildlife-related, and therefore only about half of the time we spent there was dedicated to those activities. With that said, I think I utilized the time I did have well!
