We visited today 19/12/21 and noted the empty Tapir enclosure. Does anyone know if he has moved on, or if he passed away? They were always one of our favourites.

It's my understanding that he has moved to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, this will allow the area to be redeveloped.

Does anyone know the parentage of the last tapir that left? I know he was born at Dortmund Zoo in 2009, but nothing else.
