I'm pretty sure the Japanese duo would work, not so much about Pandas and deers, pandas are vegetarian but they're still bears...

I think the macaque and Serow mix would work. Seeing that mixes like Barbary macaque and Auodad work. But pandas are still rather agressive, they nearly killed a zookeeper at Pairi Daiza a few months ago. So I wouldn't mix them with anything

My apologies it wasn’t a direct attack we know of. In this thread we were discussing Longleats Hippos and Zoofan suggested Longleats high Sea Lion mortality rate had something to do with the Hippos:

African Elephants have been housed with Warthogs, Giraffes, Zebras and diverse Antelopes (I would avoid the most aggressive ones, as Oryxes or Sable Antelopes).
