A black tailed marmoset monkey was born April 8th to mom Jemima and dads ( because the zoo don't know who is the dad) Max and Chewy.
Today's Faceook Live video came from the Nocturnal House, and although mostly focused on the Egyptian Fruit Bats, there was an update on the Pygmy Slow Loris. Unfortunately, the male recently died from a tumor, leaving the park with a single female. However, they believe the pair mated before the male died, and have hopes that the female is pregnant
Shepreth have received two Clouded Leopard sisters as part of the European breeding programme. Angin and Kilat arrived this evening from The Netherlands

Holes were deliberately cut in the perimeter fence and maned wolf fence, through which the female maned wolf escaped on the 15th October. She was found two hours later and returned to the enclosure. Police are investigating the criminal damage and cctv coverage has been increased.

All three grivet monkeys at Shepreth have recently died - the oldest, named Poppy, died a couple of months ago (aged 33 years) with both Dandy (32) and Billy (31) both put down together earlier this week after it was found both had signs of liver failure.
These monkeys have lived at Shepreth since the early 1990s after they were confiscated from an unlicensed private owner.

Scottish wildcat 'Fearn' has moved from Shepreth Wildlife Park to a conservation breeding centre in Scotland that is breeding young wildcats for release.

No idea how many but they were still signed and enclosure still occupied on my visit a month ago.

Frontier Developments will be hosting a 24-hour Twitch stream in celebration of the launch of Planet Zoo: Wetlands Animal Pack on Tuesday 12th April, with all proceeds going directly to Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity.
While Planet Zoo: Wetlands Animal Pack brings the much-requested Capybara to the game, the Frontier community team will be bringing the real thing to Twitch. Streaming directly from Cambridgeshire’s Shepreth Wildlife Park, viewers will get a deeper insight into the daily habits of these notoriously relaxed and sociable animals via carefully placed enclosure cams.
SWP's animal experts will also be on-hand throughout the stream, providing detailed keeper talks and a closer look at the Asian Small Clawed Otter (also arriving in the pack), the Aardvark, the Black and White Ruffed Lemur, the Meerkat, and the Red Panda.
