I didn't realize they were doing construction of the rainforest building. Probably not a great sign that an exhibit only a few years old is already needing major work done to it. Any idea what changes they are making?

While I suppose it's not impossible, I find it hard to believe a traveling reptile exhibition has Leiocephalus psammodromus, which is an endangered species unlikely to be exported for the pet trade much, if ever. I could be wrong on that, though.

I also know the changes being made from my coworkers but I don't think I can share it publically. But needless to say, the stuff off exhibit right now is mostly the stuff that had issues.

Hopefully they prioritize this section of the masterplan. The zoo's down to two pronghorn, now no Seals, and the bison are both elderly as well. It's a section that could use some updates anyways, and the moose/Grizzly bear combo should be sufficient to draw in crowds.

Alternatively, I could see sea otters making good use of the exhibit in the meantime.

Or, penguins could make a comeback! Humboldts might make the cut given the zoo's history with them.
