Finally, the wait is over! Hoping I will be able to see them if my trip this summer goes to plan.Pangolins arrived.

The island looks quite sparsely planted - hopefully it grows in a bit more.
Has anyone an idea of what will be housed in the former gorilla house ?
Which was original plan for old pachyderm house...I heard like 4 different plans, but it looks like it was finally settled that it will be reworked to some sort of South American house.
Hey peeps! I'll be visiting Prague in a few weeks. What are exhibits/species I should absolutely be on the lookout for?
By the gorilla pavilion do you mean the old exhibit or the new one?If it was me, I’d be heading straight for the gorilla pavilion. They also have a juvenile orangutan and elephant calves, which would surely be a highlight. If reptiles are more your thing, they have a long and successful history with Komodo dragon - so it really depends on your interests and what species you’ve seen before.
These are their species numbers as of 2018:
Mammals 164
Birds 304
Reptiles 134
Amphibians 11
Fish and cartilaginous fish 32
Invertebrates 31
The new one doesn’t open until September I believe.By the gorilla pavilion do you mean the old exhibit or the new one?

Depends on you personal preferencies...Hey peeps! I'll be visiting Prague in a few weeks. What are exhibits/species I should absolutely be on the lookout for?
My "must sees" (in no particular order):
1. Darwin’s crater exhibit
2. Sichuan house
3. Afrika up close exhibit (Afrika zblízka in Czech)
4. Exhibits for mountain goats
5. Giant salamander house
6. Local species aviaries (located near the petting zoo)
when the Indonesian Jungle plans to open?
The house is partially open right now, it will be fully opened once the pangolin quarantine ends and they will be introduced to public. That is planned on 15th May.

10th of MayIs your visit before or after the 15th of May? Would be unfortunate to miss the pangolins by a matter of days...
