T'would indeed, I've had my eye on it since it was announced. Just haven't got around to picking one up yet. The species I listed are favorites of mine that are a bit harder to come by, not the only ones I'm looking for. :)

There are also some figures in the same parcel that I rejected due to size issues and sometimes also quality: Kaiyodo white-blotched stingray, Kaiyodo Japanese spiny lobster, Eikoh green pheasant and unknown brand tamandua received instead the Kaiyodo one I asked for.

Nice figurine! I've been wanting to by this one for some time,but it is a bit expensive for my taste.Fortunately,I see them in the wild atleast once a weak where i live.I even saw one on my latest Skansen visit being bullied by some crows!
 
Indeed, the quality is absolutely superb in this figurine, but it just is too strikingly big compared with my other rays:

Ah indeed, to be precisely size accurate it would need to be distinctly smaller than the fiddler ray, not nearly twice the size of it! Adding it to a group to pass along to another collector then? Or contemplating a repaint?
 
I think that it will be added to the growing group of "extras" I reserve for maybe future figure swaps for collectors. I don't think a repaint would solve nothing as AFAIK all river stingrays have similar sizes...

Where can I get those pheasants please?
 
Both the weasel and the pheasant comes from the Ikimon-Kitan Club "Micro" Nature of Satoyama. It's a set of native Japanese animals, with also a raccoon dog, sika deer, Japanese serows, a hare.. all figures are really TINY and that can make them valuable for scale-consciousness collectors, for dioramas, for save space, etc but also are not toys - children can eat them easily, and the figures can be lost easily.

Search for Ikimon Nature of Satoyama and you probably will find some results at eBay and other sale pages or online figurine shops.

what about the other pheasants (golden and Bulwer's)?
 
Just the other day, I once again had the time and opportunity to count up all of the figurines that I currently have; and thus, the total amount of this updated collection now sums up to around 225 figures in total. Although, just like with many other collections, it will always be subjected to change; so do expect to see some additional figures being added to my roster overtime. Along with some figures that I might need to lose and give up on for the sake of my current interests.
