The new baby orangutan has been named 'Ranbi' to honour the former ape keeper, Brian Baxter. Not sure what was wrong with just calling him 'Brian' ....

This is welcome news. Well done to the team. My only fear is that CWP staff may have taken some ‘stock’ back with them? Let’s hope this is the first of many new arrivals!

There’s not even a mention that CWP staff travelled with the binturong, and even if they did, not all animal transfers are exchanges. Just feels like a needless dig.
