The AZA awarded the zoo for Top Honors in Exhibit Design for the Clayton Family ARC Campus, announced today on the AZA press release page :)

And rightfully so - having seen it for myself late last year, I can confidently say it's one of the best reptile houses/complexes I've seen... probably a contender for top 10 in the country IMO.

On February 15th, it was announced that the zoo acquired a (1.0) red panda named Jackie from Zoo Atlanta in Georgia.

On February 24th, it was announced that the zoo transferred (0.2) red pandas named Ruby and Rose to Zoo Atlanta in Georgia.

On March 21st, the zoo announced that (0.0.2) domestic goats (breed not specified) named Clover and Rusty were born which are now on exhibit.

On May 4th, it was reported that the zoo transferred a (1.0) red wolf named Ace to The Texas Zoo in Texas.

On September 21st, the zoo announced that (0.0.5) white-faced whistling ducks hatched in August.

On September 24th, it was announced that the zoo transferred a (1.0) Komodo dragon named Aegon to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in Ohio.
