Brexit notwithstanding, it didn't seem to take too long to import these, though of course I don't know how long it has actually taken.ZTL lists 1.1.2 Roloway Monkeys at Chester, arrived October 2023
I would imagine the process has taken many months, potentially over a year (which is very common in my experience).Brexit notwithstanding, it didn't seem to take too long to import these, though of course I don't know how long it has actually taken.
Great news, how many times has the zoo bred them now?The zoo has announced the birth of two round-eared sengis
Two sengis born at Chester zoo | TWO of the CUTEST snoots you'll want to boop We're delighted to welcome the birth of twin sengis at our special behind-the-scenes breeding facility ... | By Chester Zoo | Facebook
Went to the zoo yesterday and had a great day despite the poor weather but it did dry up as the day went on. There were a few school teen yobs about shouting loudly in the Aye-Aye area and the same guys shouting again at the entrance to Realm of the Red Ape with a little vandalising. Not what you want in a zoo.
The Islands walkthrough aviary was closed off and no idea on why it was.
It was my first time seeing the construction work for Heart of Africa and it is coming on nicely. The steel frame is now up for the new Giraffe house and it is fairly big.
The new education building there is now complete and looks really nice.
I did see Inka the new black Jaguar but didn't see the new Andean Bear.
unfortunately we had the same issue with a group of teenage boys at Cotswold wildlife park shouting in the wolves area , they were with a teacher who was ineffective at controlling them , a shame we moved onto somewhere else
Are the spotted Deer still under the walkway alongside the painted dog enclosure?
