I managed to squeeze in a visit to Battersea Zoo during my stay in London last week.

A couple of changes not mentioned on zootierliste or this website.

1. There is now a pair of Straited Caracas in the Barn Owl/Hedgehog area on the website map. Did not see those two species so no idea if they are still in collection.

2. Enclosure that is supposed to hold an eider species currently looks like its being renovated so the birds were not exhibited.

Does this facility hold macaque? I notice they are listed as a holder for Sulawesi black crested macaque on Zootierliste but there is no indication on their website list that they hold this species.

Does this facility hold macaque? I notice they are listed as a holder for Sulawesi black crested macaque on Zootierliste but there is no indication on their website list that they hold this species.
Having visited the facility since my post, they do not hold this species for public display.
