People who exaggerate how dangerous an animal is. Don't get me wrong; of course humans need to treat animals with respect and use appropriate caution. But sometimes the animals are painted in a completely unnecessary way. Like moose, I have seen many people on social media claim how dangerous and aggressive moose are and that they attack easily and with no warning. But all my encounters have been peaceful. Since I moved to my summer house in May, I have met moose at least one time a weak. And all my encounters have been peaceful—even females with calfs and bulls during rutting season. Stingrays are another example. After Irwin's death, many people seem to view stingrays as some hyper-aggressive, easily provoked killers, but all my encounters have been very pleasant; they are very timid and either swim away or just stay in the sand. I have never seen them display any aggressiveness. Creating a negative image of an animal as something more dangerous than it actually is may scare people from going out to explore the great outdoors and to learn to be fascinated by these animals.
