I just realised that the new map has some details of the new trail, perhaps there will be a new ranger station as indicated in the map? It is really underwhelming that the new trail may host more exhibits for (existing) civets.

That's a lot more than what I expected - hopefully their new exhibit can display them well. And based on the new map - there might be 2 pangolin exhibits in the new trail? I'm not sure how much we can glean info from the new map.

How many slow lorises and maned wolves left in the park? 1-2 years ago I always saw a pair in their respective exhibits but it seems now it is only single individuals.
The male maned wolf has died iirc. 0.1 is left in the exhibit. Theres one Javan Slow loris on display

There are 2.3 Pangolins currently.

I've been trying to figure out what the former Marsh Bird exhibit will house. From the barrier height and retention of the pool, it may be for Asian Small Clawed Otters..
Do they maintain only the Sunda pangolin Manis javanica?

Would it not be welcome that S.E. Asian zoos invest more in another otter species? How about the local smooth coated otters?

Can you upload the map you are talking about?

Pilsen zoo had a litter of maned wolves in 2016 and one of the cubs was named Houdini. Could this be the same animal or is it just coincidence?

I'm not sure of his origins, but he could well be the same individual from Pilsen since Mandai is part of the EEP for Maned Wolves.

I was curious so I looked into old annual reports and indeed - Houdini is from Pilsen. Nice to know he is still alive and well. I was there when he was christened.

Born on 3rd February 2016. Parents were Herbert (zoo Leipzig) and Anna (Norden Arks). The litter had total of 4 cubs - males Houdini, Harry and Hagrid and female Hermiona. Hermiona was sent to zoo Opole in 2017. Harry and Hagrid went the same year to zoo Lille. And Houdini was sent to Singapore in April 2018.

Well a bit of a bummer for me personally, the Sunda Pangolin has apparently moved out from its interspecies exhibit with the Small-Toothed Palm Civet in the Leopard Trail and will be off display until the opening of the Pangolin Trail.

I'm definitely going to miss having Berani there in that exhibit, it probably is one of the best exhibits for em. Hopefully their new home in Pangolin Trail will be just as good
If that is so the pangolin Trail would probably open around 14 July,as Mandai announced that the pangolin would be off display from 14 June-14 July.

So its possible that the Otters from the tram exhibit will move there, and the Pelicans from the Zoo's Sealion exhibit which is closing soon will move to the tram Otter exhibit.
Are all the pelicans over at the sea lion exhibit Dalmatians and hybrids? Guessing most of Jurong's pelicans besides the Australian pelicans and pink-backeds, a flock of great whites and Dalmatians for the show were exported
