I visited Port Lypmne yesterday for the first time since 2012... The ranger truck safari was amazing, I got up close to the Giraffes, Vicuna, White Rhinos, Axis Deer, Bactrian Camel, Indian Sambar Deer, Red Lechwe and Common Eland.
Sadly I didn't see the Wildebeest or Takins (2 species I wanted to see but oh well).
I've forgotten how steep Port Lypmne is in some places... the walking route was ok, I loved seeing the Asian Water Buffalo, Bush Dogs and Malayan Tapir.
I've been told by a number of keepers about some past hoofstock which are still listed on ZTL so here goes: the park no longer houses- Greater Kudu, Defassa Waterbuck, Visayan Warty Pig, Hard Ground Barasingha, Sable Antelope and Kafue Lechwe.
